I have a 65 pound American Bulldog & Lab mix who can tear apart the black Kong toys in under 15 minutes. I tried many other toys that were labeled "indestructible, super tough, or for aggressive chewers" with the same result - little piles of rubber shreds on either side of my dog as he sinks his teeth in and pulls the toys apart. Ordered one of these Zogoflex Tux toys after reading the reviews hoping to finally find something that would stand up to his choppers. Received an orange one a few days later and showed it to my dog. He was on it immediately. It quickly became his favorite toy. So how did it stand up to his chewing?

Well, he's been chewing on it for over a week now and the thing still looks brand new. I've even tucked treats in the underside which really makes him go at the thing and he still hasn't gotten any pieces off of it! He also likes to play fetch with the Tux. In fact, it is the only toy we have that he will bring to me and drop in my lap, asking me to toss it.

It's a chew toy, a treat holder, and a fetch toy and it has stood up to the hardest chewing dog I've ever known. Well worth the money, in my opinion!

this dog chew toy is one of 2 dog toys that my 3 seventy plus pound dalmatians cannot destroy. I would recommend this toy for very powerful chewers. they have had this toy for around 2 months now and there is a couple teeth marks but they still look almost brand new. the dogs do play with them especially if you fill the middle of the toy with a treat. If not for this product i would be at a loss on what to give my dogs for toys. They only other toy they cannot destroy is the durable nyla bone for extreme chewers. I use to buy them the extreme kong but they chewed it up a couple months ago!!

Fun toy. Our Mastiffs love chewing on this toy. Wedge a treat in the center and these have kept our dogs busy for an hour or more at a time! We highly recommend the zogoflex toys by West Paw Design.

My dog, an avid chewer, absolutely loves this toy! It claims to have no scent (unlike a Nyla bone), so it must be the texture and shape that she adores. She carries it around like a pacifer, it's so cute. We spread peanut butter on the inside of the toy when we leave. It is super durable like many has said. There are only two negatives. One: it makes a horrid squeaky noise if she's chewing agressively on it. Two: The hole in the back is pretty big and shallow, so you can't hide a treat in it like a kong. You can only spread peanut butter or cheese or something. I would definitely recommend it, especially because it is non-toxic and recyclable, too.

I agree with the other reviewers. This toy is fun to chew and pounce on as is, and stuffed with something yummy, it keeps my dogs safely occupied for a couple of hours. I recommend filling it with peanut butter or cream cheese, and then freezing it. It takes longer to lick the frozen yummy stuff out, and occupies the dog longer.
